On February 5, 2021, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine enforced an Order “On approval of the Procedure for the authority of research institutions, enterprises and organizations to conduct state testing of pesticides and agrochemicals” №392, which was published on December 28, 2020.

Previously, the system of state testing was regulated by the Order of the Ministry of Ecology №287, which provided a list of institutions. There were no specific criteria, which regulated the list of institutes and the requirements for research institutions in the field of state testing of pesticides and agrochemicals.

In the middle of February 2021, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine started to accept applications from institutes for accreditation.

Within 45 days the Ministry of Natural Resources should make a decision regarding the accreditation of an institute. A list of accredited institutions will be published on the website of the Ministry of Natural Resources.

If an institute is refused accreditation, then, accordingly, the test results of this institute will not be accepted.

Re-accreditation will take place every 5 years.
